Frequently Asked Questions
How often should lawns be mowed in Pascoe Vale South?
Part of the answer to this depends on your property, and the other part is seasonal. The
main three factors are grass type, sunlight, and rainfall. Of course, if your grass is in
shade, the answer might differ for you.
Generally, however, during the active October to March growing phase, we advise mowing at
least once every 3 weeks to maintain excellent grass health and appearance. Throughout the
cooler months (May to August), growth slows down, making a monthly or 5-weekly cut ample.
Is lawn fertilisation included with standard mowing in Pascoe Vale South?
Fertilisation isn't included in our standard mowing visits. However, we are happy to apply a quality slow-release fertiliser to your lawn as an add-on service to help boost its growth and overall colour.
Do you clean up the grass clippings after mowing?
Yes, we always blow down the outdoor premises to clear any stray grass. We then place the clippings in your green waste bin, or if you don't have one, we can arrange to load them up and take them away in our trailer for an extra fee.
